Columbia, MO / Public Services / Part Time

DEPARTMENT: Public Services - Children's Team (2 positions available)

 

HOURS/DAYS:  These positions are year-round

A – Part-time (average of 20 hours per week)

Monday 4pm-9pm, Tuesday 1pm-9pm, Friday 2pm-6pm, every other Saturday (9am-5pm) and 4-5 Sundays (12:45pm-5:15pm) per year.

 

B - Part-time (average of 22.25 hours per week)

Tuesday 4pm-9pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Friday 10am-2pm, every other Saturday (9am-5pm) and Sunday (12:45pm-5:15pm)

           

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESAssigned to Children’s Team:

Provides readers advisory, information, user instruction, computer and programming services to the public.  May plan and present programs for children and families; including hosting performers and workshops.  

High school diploma/or equivalent and 48 hours college credit and at least one year customer service related experience; previous library experience preferred.

HOURLY SALARY: $13.59 per hour
